Environmentally Responsible Printing

If you are looking for environmentally responsible printing make Elite Printing Group your first stop for help find the right eco-friendly solution. At Elite, we’re trying our best to reduce our impact on the environment while providing stunning color print solutions at a competitive price.

We have taken the initiative to affiliate ourselves with an environmentally friendly printing press and partner with others who take significant steps to utilize environmentally sound processes in their production of printed products and use of materials.

Our primary press uses soy based inks instead of traditional petroleum-based inks. Because soy inks are a more simple compound than petroleum-based inks, soy ink is safer andpage2pic much more environmentally friendly ink. It has many advantages over petroleum-based inks; one is its distinguishable clearness which allows for a brighter, more vibrantly colored ink. Soy ink can also be easily removed from paper, which is essential in paper recycling as it is quicker to process and recycle the paper.

By using unique Aqueous and UV coatings even this step in our process is environmentally friendly. The coatings which consist of very low to zero traces of volatile organic compounds (VOC ) reduce harmful components that damage the atmosphere and the environment.

An essential ingredient in the print industry is paper. We utilize paper that is produced specifically for paper-making and is not produced from illegally deforested trees. Most stocks are post consumer recycled.

As the environment becomes more dependent on us, we are committed to doing our part to use the safest and least polluting materials to produce beautiful printed products.

It is our pledge to always:

  • Meet or exceed all regulatory requirements affecting our business where the environment is concerned.
  • Use recycled materials in our manufacturing and service operations, particularly in packaging.
  • Work with suppliers, contractors and customers who share our values in environmentally responsible printing processes.
